Themed Museum Birthday Parties

Plan the ultimate birthday bash with a themed Marbles party! Enjoy a longer, two-hour party that includes exciting games, activities and make & take crafts.

Book a June Birthday Party and receive return admission passes for your party guests.

$350 | $100 deposit required

  • Museum admission for 12 children
  • Admission for one adult chaperone per child, plus the birthday parents
  • Unlimited free play throughout the museum for all party guests
  • Games, crafts and activities led by a dynamic Museum Animator
  • Two hours in a private party room (includes themed activities)
  • Paper products including tablecloths, plates, napkins and forks

Available Themes

Kids Cook (ages 3+)
Cooking at Marbles blends art, science and all-out deliciousness in this party full of tasty treats.

Pirates and Princesses (ages 3+)
Set sail on a treasure hunt adventure for everyone or twirl and swirl at a royal jubilee for princesses.

Marbleous Race (ages 7+)
Race with your team to complete an adventurous quest in the museum!

Party Room


Themed parties are held in Think Tank:

  • Think Tank is on the second floor near IdeaWorks; 31 children (max capacity for room – 64 (adults and children), 1:1 ratio)


Museum Animator


Each Marbles Kids Museum themed birthday party includes a Museum Animator to assist you before, during and after your party to help create a wonderful party experience for you, your child and your guests.

Your Museum Animator will:

  • Lead the themed activities
  • Assist you in serving food, beverages and cake
  • Complete a headcount of your guests in order to process the party contract
  • Finalize your party contract and assist in completing the payment transaction
  • Assist with packing and storing your party supplies and gifts (but no personal valuables) until you are ready to leave the museum
  • When you are ready to leave the museum, he/she will retrieve your stored party supplies and gifts and assist in transporting to your vehicle

Invitations
Colorful Marbles postcard invitations are available through the birthday party coordinator or at the museum welcome desk. Cost is $5 for 15 invitations.

Treat Bags with return pass for a future museum visit
Mark one more thing off your to-do list and reserve Marbleous treat bags for your party guests. Treat bags are best suited for children ages 1-10 and can be customized for boys or girls if preferred. Cost is $5 per child.

IMAX Movie
Add an IMAX movie to your museum party! Group prices for documentary movies are $4.50 per child 1-11; $8 per adult; and $7 per senior. Hollywood features for groups are $7 per child 1-11; $12 per adult; and $11 per senior. *Prices are for groups of 10 people or more.

Beverage Service for 20 people

  • Coffee - $45 (includes set up, coffee urn, cups, lids, sleeves, napkins, sweeteners, half and half and stir sticks)
  • Hot Tea - $20 (includes set up, tea bags and hot water)
  • Bottled Water - $20
