Kick off your child's successful school career at Kickoff to Kindergarten at Marbles Kids Museum! Celebrate this major milestone with purposeful play and practice to prepare you for the first day of school. Experts in nutrition, education, healthy living, proper immunization and other areas of concern will be on hand to answer questions for parents and provide age-appropriate activities for the kindergartners. This event is free to rising or current kindergartners and their families.
Please note: The museum will open to the general public at 12:00pm on Saturday, August 21.
For Kindergartners

- Board a real school bus
- Go through a pretend lunch line
- Create an "All About Me" book to share with your teacher
- Learn to pack your backpack
- Ask a first grader all about kindergarten
For Grown-Ups
- Receive valuable information to help ease your child's transition and yours
