Marbles to Host an Evening of Spells, Sorcery & Surprises

Families Enjoy Late Night at Marbles presents Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Raleigh, NC (Aug. 17, 09) — On Friday, August 21 guests will experience a magical night at Marbles Kids Museum, coupled with a screening of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince exclusively in IMAX 3D. Late Night at Marbles is the perfect all-in-one evening of spells, sorcery and surprises for the family.

After watching the movie, guests will experience the thrills of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at Marbles. The museum will be transformed into the academy where kids can write with invisible ink, make Flobberworm slime, wands and spell books and practice snitch-catching skills during quidditch practice. A full cast of characters from Shadow Players Stage Combat Group will lead activities and skits for those kids and families who have signed up for the second in a series of “after dark” family events at Marbles.

About Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: An IMAX 3D Experience
As Harry Potter begins his 6th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he discovers a book marked mysteriously "This book is the property of the Half-Blood Prince" and begins to learn more about Lord Voldemort's dark past. Explosive opening sequence exclusively in IMAX 3D.
