An Evening of Adventure for Kids with Special Needs and Their Families

Marbles Kids Museum and The Arc of Wake County Present Family Fun Night

Raleigh, NC (7/9/09) — Marbles Kids Museum and The Arc of Wake County present Family Fun Night on Thursday, July 9 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm at the museum in downtown Raleigh. A coalition of organizations dedicated to the support of and service to the special needs community have teamed up with Marbles Kids museum to develop an evening of museum adventure for kids ages birth to 10 years old with special needs and their families. This after-hours event will allow the kids to experience the museum in a calmer, less crowded environment. Marbles Kids Museum hosts this free evening quarterly for kids with special needs and their families.


Partners that helped to make this event possible include: Marbles Kids Museum, The Arc of Wake County, Wake Special Education PTA, Wake County Cerebral Palsy Support Group, Triangle Down Syndrome Network, Wake County Local Interagency Coordinating Council, The TelAbility Project and WATCH, Wake County Autism Society, and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.
