May 7, 2009Raleigh, NC (5/7/09) — On Saturday, May 9 from 9:00am to 5:00pm, kids and families will embark on a high-energy adventure at Kids Health Quest presented by Marbles Kids Museum and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle. Kids and families will navigate their way from the Big Bone Dig where kids will discover how the spine works to reeling in food groups at Fishing for Food. Movin' and groovin' activities, visits from special mascot guests and spectacular prizes will round out this day of shipshape fun.
Marbles Kids Museum and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle have teamed up to present this dynamic event to further our common mission of building healthy families in our community.
Building Healthy, Active Families is a core initiative for Marbles Kids Museum and is integrated throughout the exhibits and programs. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle has recently established their Healthy Child Initiative to further develop healthy active lifestyles through their programs.
