Marbles Kids Museum summer camps will give your child an adventure of a lifetime! There are camps for all ages ; rising preschoolers (ages 3-5), rising elementary kids (grades K-5), and rising middle school (grades 6-8). Camps include museum access, an IMAX® film, as well as countless opportunities to get active, have fun and be creative.
Morning and afternoon camps are available; or you can register for one of each and build a full day's schedule with free lunch time supervision.

Summer Camp Registration is now open for Marbles Kids Museum members and will open February 18, 2008 for non-members.

Summer Camps 2008 Descriptions

Agent Destination: Treasure Hunters (AGENT) Grades K - 2nd; 3rd - 5th
Become an international secret agent! Travel around the world looking for the dastardly criminals Mr. Shark and Hyde Ann Go Seek. With only a few clues, campers begin a weeklong chase to recover a special Marbles treasure.
Build It! (BUILD) Grades K - 2nd; 3rd - 5th
Get creative and build structures from unusual materials. The sky's the limit if you can get that far!
Camp Marbles (MAR) Grades K - 2nd; 3rd - 5th
Have a camp out, sing campy songs, get crafty, tell campfire stories, and get outdoors with nature walks & camp games.
Center Stage (STAGE) Grades K - 2nd; 3rd - 5th
It's a week full of drama! Campers will experience all aspects of the stage including acting, set decoration, and costume design. Campers will put on a play for their parents at the end of the week.
Design Camp (DESIGN) Grades 6th - 8th
Look around you. Buildings, houses, gardens, parks, streets and cars, shirts and sneakers, books and toys-- Someone has designed everything that you see!
Middle School campers will explore the exciting world of design through a series of fun projects developed by CAM (Contemporary Art Museum) and NC State College of Design.
Express Yourself (EXPRESS) Grades K - 2nd; 3rd - 5th
Express yourself through art, music, theater, games, & play. Get creative and explore the world of you!
Get Buggy (BUGS) Preschool and Grades K - 2nd
It's a bug's life! Enter the bug world through play, crafts, games, and music.
Kids Cook (COOK) $30 materials fee; Preschool and Grades K - 2nd; 3rd - 5th
Our cooking camp is back by popular demand! Kids experience cooking and try new foods.

Kids Garden (GARDEN) Preschool and Grades K - 2nd; 3rd - 5th
Develop a green thumb! Campers will explore nature all around them and discover the world of gardening.
Magic Tree House (TREE) Grades K - 2nd
Please bring books or add a $20 material fee and books will be provided.
Magic Tree House: Exploring Animals
Spend a week reading books from the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne while building your literacy skills and learning about animals and their habitats through a variety of activities and crafts. We'll explore dinosaurs, ocean animals, arctic creatures, rainforest critters, and African primates.
Magic Tree House: Ancient World
Spend a week reading books from the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne while building your literacy skills and learning about the ancient world through a variety of activities and crafts. We'll explore early humans and the Ice Age, ancient Egypt, ancient Greece and the early Olympics, ancient China, and the Roman Empire.
Magic Tree House: Adventure Camp
Spend a week reading books from the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne while building your literacy skills and learning about exciting times and places around the world through a variety of activities and crafts. We'll sail the seas with Vikings, become knights from the Middle Ages, plunder the waters with pirates, take a visit to Australia, and blast off to a space station.
Out to Sea Adventure (SEA) Preschool and Grades K - 2nd
Travel the seven seas as pirates & mermaids during this weeklong adventure.
Rhythm & Music (MUSIC) Grades K - 2nd; 3rd - 5th
Create your own beats and learn about rhythms around the world. Campers will shake, rattle, & roll!
Sports & Games (GAMES) Preschool and Grades K - 5th
Become an international athlete! Campers will get active and travel the world exploring sports & games from other countries.
Things that GO! (GO) Preschool and Grades K - 2nd
How do you get around? Campers will explore the world of transportation and even create some methods of their own.
Toys & Games (TOYS) Grades K - 2nd; 3rd - 5th
What's your favorite toy? What games do you like to play? Create and play all week in this fun, active camp.
Water World (WATER) Preschool and Grades K - 2nd; 3rd - 5th
Welcome to the world of water! This week is full of water play, water games, water art, water music, and water everywhere!

*Extended Day Supervision
Available extended day supervision (all camps except Preschool) is before care (8:00am - 8:55am), aftercare (5:00pm-6:00pm) and lunch care (12:15pm-1:15pm; included for full day campers). These options are $25 per week per type of extended care.
*Preschool Lunch Bunch
Available preschool camper supervision through the lunch hour is available for $25 per week. Campers must bring their own lunch. No before care is available for preschool campers unless attending with an older sibling.
