The Details
2010 Camp-In ScheduleJanuary 23-24, 6:00pm-9:00am | Brownie Girl Scouts Ready, Set, Camp-In Break out your sleeping bags and tents (optional) and set up your campsite for a night at the museum. We’ll bring the outdoors in as girls earn their Ready, Set, Go Camping Try-It. No bugs. No weather worries. Just the fun stuff. Start with an authentic camp-out dinner topped off with s’mores. Then join in a workshop, explore the museum, create a camping craft, play games and take a “scent hike”. End the evening singing around our “campfire” and dancing the night away. After a night in the museum, wake to a continental breakfast and special screening of an IMAX movie. Dinner, snack, breakfast and a patch are included. SOLD OUT! February 6-7, 6:00pm-9:00am | Cub Scouts A Camping We Will Go Break out your sleeping bags and join us for a night camping in the museum. The evening will include the opportunity to earn both your marbles sports belt loop and your language and culture academic belt loop. Enjoy activities based on the belt loops, spend free time exploring the museum and end the evening with campfire stories. After a night in the museum, wake to a continental breakfast and special screening of an IMAX movie. Dinner, snack, breakfast and a patch are included. Registration now closed. February 20-21, 6:00pm-9:00am | Junior Girl Scouts Jewelry Jamboree Earn your Jeweler badge during this Marbles Kids Museum camp-in experience. Create all kinds of jewelry, including nature-themed, recycled and multi-cultural, as well as a beautiful jewelry box. Learn about the symbolism behind many kinds of jewelry and wear your creations to the after-hours dance party. After a night in the museum, wake to a continental breakfast and special screening of an IMAX movie. Dinner, snack, breakfast and a patch are included. SOLD OUT!
